OldBoy

Oldboy (2003) is a South Korean neo-noir action thriller directed by Park Chan-wook. Based on the Japanese manga of the same name. Oh Dae-su (Choi Min-sik), an ordinary businessman, is kidnapped and imprisoned in a cell for 15 years without explanation. One day, he is suddenly released and given five days to uncover the truth behind his captivity. As he embarks on a brutal quest for vengeance, he encounters Mi-do (Kang Hye-jung), a kind-hearted woman who helps him on his journey. However, as Dae-su digs deeper, he uncovers horrifying secrets that shake him to his core.
