Born on April 21, 1995, in Edinburgh, Scotland, Thomas Anthony Doherty is a Scottish actor and singer. He has an older brother and a younger sister. His parents worked in the banking industry. Doherty attended the Royal High School in Edinburgh and later graduated from The MGA Academy of Performing Arts in July 2015, where he studied musical theatre. He was in a relationship with his Descendants 2 co-star Dove Cameron from 2017 to 2020.
