The film continues to follow the journey of Moana to place the heart of Te Fiti, for now, she has become a well-respected leader of her island people. Moana is taking a trip on an epic new voyage, along with Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) her favorite companion, and together with a new character Moni (voiced by Hualalai Chung), who will engage with her into exploring the forgotten underwater realms against very powerful enemies resolved to destroy Moana's home and family when an ancient and mysterious threat from the depths of the ocean emerges. Along the way, she learns very deep truths about her heritage, leadership, and the unlimited courage it takes to protect those she loves. The film will include some returning actors such as Jemaine Clement as the greedy crab Tamatoa, with Michael House reprising his role as the wise Tala. With spectacular animation, unforgettable music, and a touching narrative, this story promises to be a captivating adventure about bravery, friendship, and growth.
