Harrison Ford made his uncredited film debut in Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round (1966) as a bellhop. His first credited role was in A Time for Killing (1967) as Lt. Shaffer.

Personal Life

Born on 1942-07-13 in Chicago, Illinois, Ford is the son of Dorothy, a former radio actress, and John William “Christopher” Ford, an advertising executive and former actor. He has been married three times: to Mary Marquardt (1964–1979), Melissa Mathison (1983–2004), and Calista Flockhart (2010–present). He has five children.

Harrison Ford is best known for his iconic roles as Han Solo in the Star Wars series and as the titular character in the Indiana Jones franchise. Before achieving fame, he worked as a carpenter to support his family. He is also a licensed pilot and an active environmental activist.
